Bio - Abel Gitimu Waithaka
I am happy to join Coldwell Banker fraternity as a realtor. My name is Abel Gitimu Waithaka, and I was born in Kenya. I moved to United States of America 20 years ago with my family for studies. I am bilingual where I speak English, Kikuyu and Swahili (the common language spoken in countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi). I been teacher both in Kenya and here in the United States for many years. My last assignment was as a university Professor at Youngstown State University in Ohio where I taught for 9 years. I love people, and approaches life enthusiastically. I am a fun storyteller and enjoy socializing. My wife has written my biography entitled, “Charcoal to Diamond” about my childhood, schooling, and relocation to United State with a family. I am happily married to my wife Priscilla Gitimu, who was my college sweetheart for the last 24 years. Together with my wife we have been blessed with four children. We recently moved to Nashville, TN from Youngstown Ohio and I decided to have a break from teaching to become a realtor and do business in this great State of Tennessee.
